The population of Finns of Igbo descent has increased over the years, necessitating the need to teach the Igbo language and culture to the younger generation. Also, some Igbo people in Finland are married to Finns, who must learn more about the origins of their husbands as well as some Igbo languages in order to reduce cultural conflicts in their family life.
